Everybody wants to look and feel attractive. Some feel good when having a good hair day.
We have talked about getting a home tan using a lotion and spraying the solution. Let us now look into the heart of the spray, the machine.
Things to consider when choosing the spray gun.

1. Solution canister
It should just have the right amount of solution per load. A larger canister means more weight and thus difficulty in spraying. If it is too small, you will spend time reloading.
On average, it takes around 2 ounces of tanning solution per person.
From a business standpoint, having the right size of the canister would mean a better allocation of the tanning solution per client.
2. Feeding system
Siphon feed – The reservoir is on the bottom of the brush. Air is drawn into the top of the tube causing the tanning solution to be “siphoned” into the mixing chamber.
Gravity feed – Gravity-feed guns mount the reservoir on top of the gun, and utilize gravity to allow the solution to flow down into the air stream.
Side feed – they can use a side gravity cup or side siphon-feed bottle. Most side-feed airbrush sets include cups and bottles.
What is commonly used in spray tanning machines is the siphon feed.

3. Spray gun or Airbrush?
Simply putting it, spray guns are for covering large areas. Airbrushes are for small areas with accurate sprays.
Spray tanners use guns instead of airbrushes. Airbrushes take a long time to complete one session, give or take 40 minutes.
4. Noise generation
You do not want to disrupt the tranquility of the spa. You need to look for a silent compressor. The more silent, the more professional.
5. Repeatability
Cost-wise, you need to consider where you are going to use the machine; a spray tanning business or just at home.
Business-grade spray machines cost more. But why spend more when a home-use machine can do the job.
6. Weight
For business use where the machine sits steadily in the salon, a business-grade, a large machine will do. However, if you are a mobile spray tan professional, a lightweight machine is a must.
What machine to pick?

The Exuma Spray Tanning Machine is the one for you. It is very easy to operate.
Many use the siphon feeding method for a good reason; can hold significant amounts of tanning solution and is very advantageous when spraying large areas without the need for frequent refills.
There is a fluid control knob for volume control, adjustable spray patterns, and a low maintenance nozzle.
Even with the 3-speed turbine and a heated air function, it silent. A business-grade quality.
