Skin Care Tips for the Holidays

Tanning is great move to have a new look this holiday season. But even if your skin is now looking bronze, it does not mean that it’s safe to get exposed against the sun. Whatever your skin color is, there are lots of things to do to keep it healthier.

Here are some skin care tips to continue looking good during the holidays:

  1. Avoid stress.

Stress can worsen skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis and more. Try to relax and manage your schedule wisely so as to avoid a lot of rushing. Eat right, exercise and drink plenty of water.

  1. Choose your outfit carefully.

Avoid clothes with rough texture that can irritate your skin. In terms of fashion, go for colors suitable to your hair and skin color. But if you have pimples or reoccurring acne, stay from dresses with shades of red since it will make your skin conditions more noticeable. Instead, choose a color that matches your eyes so as to attract more people and draw their attention toward your eyes rather than your skin.

  1. Drink red wine.

Red wine is good for the heart. It is also rich on anti-oxidants that nourish your skin. Avoid drinking too much alcohol. One to two glasses of red wine should be enough to achieve a healthier and glowing skin.
